The stunning network of remote trails winds its way up to 2,000 metres above sea level. The cosy hamlet of Wirl marks the start of the Silvretta – Bielerhöhe trail, taking cross-country skiers all the way up to imposing Silvretta Reservoir at 2,040 metres above sea level. Those who like to enjoy cross-country skiing under the stars can hit the 3km night trail from Galtür to Wirl, which is floodlit every evening until 22:00.
